Jeanie Barbera is the Co-Owner of Custom fitness LLC, previously owner of Jeanies’s Custom fitness , has been successfully training clients for over 20 years. In 1992 she was certified with NFPT as a personal trainer, she also has her CPR and AED certifications. Jeanie lives by example. Dedicated to health, fitness and nutrition, Jeanie turned her passion into her profession by opening her own training studio in 2005. Jeanie’s motto, “Your success is my success” has paid off. Now owner of Custom Fitness, she has attracted diverse clients who range in age, needs, and abilities. I am the program designer and coordinator for our Weight Loss Challenges, Couch to 5k, and on-site and off-site Corporate Wellness Programs. Additionally I am a Physical Education Teacher and athletics coach for the North Colonie School District.

Beverly is spin certified through Mad Dogg Athletics and received her Group Exercise Certification through the YMCA, where she also teaches Body Sculpt, Extreme Core and Tabata. Beverly is also Turbo Kick certified. After 35 years in finance, she decided she really wanted to work in the fitness industry. She takes great pride in helping people achieve their goals and love motivating and encouraging participants to challenge themselves.
My name is Becky and I am the gym manager here at Custom Fitness. My ongoing quest to be physically fit and healthy began 20 years ago. Personal weight training and group fitness classes have helped me to continue to reach my goals and given me the support I need to stay focused on the journey. Being healthy and fit is a choice we all have the freedom to make. You just need to make it.
Spinning has been a big part of my life for the past 5 years, and I have seen and felt first-hand the effects of indoor cycling. I was introduced to Spinning in 2012 at Custom Fitness when I was looking for a low impact cardio exercise that would help me in recovering from a knee injury. After Spinning helped me fully recover from my injury, I realized I not only wanted to participate in class, I wanted to become an Instructor–I received my Mad Dogg Spinning Certification in April, 2014. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share my passion for Spinning through teaching. No judgments or expectations will be present in my classes, only a willingness to participate and to have fun! Mark has been active in fitness for over 25 years. He grew up around the sport of boxing and is a student of the sport. Now a retired businessman, he spends his time working on boxing technique and conditioning.
In his spare time he is volunteer of the Undisputed Champions coaching staff working with autistic children in a boxing program supported by the International Boxing Federation.
He brings a solid knowledge of weight training and cardio work along with his coaching in boxing. Mark teaches our HIITz boxing class, does one on one boxing training, as well as one on one and group personal training.
I’m excited to share my passion for fitness and wellness as an instructor at Custom Fitness. I’ve always been a physically active person. Growing up I was apart in track and field, ballet, and spending as much time outdoors, partaking in some type of athletics.
Today, I still engage in many road races; I am a natural competitor and enjoy the adrenal rush at these events. I also love a variety of workouts, Spinning, PIYO, Pilates, lifting, Kickboxing. I have always been focused and a determined individual. It takes hard work, dedication, and commitment to reach your goals. I believe that if you truly put your mind to something, you can achieve it. Those things that challenge you only make the reward more satisfying.

Allison is a certified personal trainer through ESA and specializes in Circuit training, Piloxing, TRX and Yoga Fusion. She is also a licensed Massage Therapist. With 15+ years of experience working one on one with clients in a health or health related environment, it has become her passion to share with people ways that they can heal, nurture, and expand their own health and overall well being.

Having a passion for sports and fitness, Jen has changed her life and body, wanting to pass on her passion. Jen specializes in one-on-one personal fitness, strength training and nutritional counseling. She is 100% committed to helping clients achieve their goals and enjoys the rewards of clients seeing results.
